1. complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
2. Faith means putting your trust in God and having confidence that he will fulfill his promises.

Hey girly! How are you? I hope you are doing good and amazing, if you are not I pray that you know and understand that bad times do not last always. I want to say thank you for taking the time to read this passage to increase your knowledge and faith with our walk with Christ because as we ALL know it's not easy and many of us fall short. Today's topic is dealing with why we MUST walk in faith during every season of our life. Depending on how long you've been living or how much life has humbled you, you should be aware that there are good, bad, and ugly seasons of our life that essentially impacts our walk with Christ but there is a glue that ensures whatever season we are walking in, we will reach God's promises and that glue is called, faith. When we search the definition of "faith" we find that faith is putting our trust and confidence in the Lord that regardless, he will fulfill his promises.

I understand that the walk right now may not look the best, for some of us it may look like a disaster. Are you struggling with school and ready to throw in the towel? Is depression and anxiety laying heavy on you? Lust attacking you at an all time high when you're supposed to be practing absence? Are you lacking motivation and self discipline that's stopping you from reaching your goals? Maybe the breakup and the emotions are weighing you down? I understand girl. First, forgive yourself for possibly falling short and give yourself grace to know that it will be okay because essentially it will--I know you probably do not want to hear that because it is so cliche. Life is supposed to have its moments that feels as if it's going against the plan... it builds characeter in the process. But it's up to us to either allow what is going against the plan to tear us down or build us up. That is why we must have faith. Faith will keep us focused on God's promises when all hell has broken loose. We must set our heart on Psalm 23:4; Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Understand that God's word will come to pass. Put the magnifying glass on having confidence that God is fulfilling his promises.

For this week, let's focus on what faith is and how we can increase it.

Let's practice:

- Praying Everyday

- Giving thanksgiving during prayer

- Vocally expressing that we trust God and his plan

-  Memorizing Psalm 23:4
